Thanks for dropping by. Yes, this is correct, most of the analytics tools will tell you the same that readers mostly scan through your content and generally the content above the fold gets the highest attention, apart from the sub headings.

I tend to find that people only keep concentration for so long regardless of how well you’ve segregated and made the post look nice and readable. Readers will tend to skip read at points to rush to the end so normally there is a gap about 4/5ths the way through the post that won’t get the full reading attention it deserves.
